Always the bridesmaid, but never the bride.” Most are familiar with that expression. For Bisli Vazquez, however, the phrase works a bit differently — she would never be the mother of the bride.
What does this mean? Well, let’s look at Bisli’s backstory.
Bisli is from Panama, where the beautiful, clear blue sky meets the clear, beautiful ocean — where some of the worlds’ most colorful, exotic, and amazing plants and flowers flourish.
Like most young girls, she dreamed of a grand wedding, but then the United States military deployed her fiancé and they needed to get married immediately in order to be together. Romantic, yes. Luxurious, no.
Oh well, there would be daughters. She could always plan their grand weddings. But, she had two sons, two wonderful and amazing sons.
Bisli, however, was tremendously smart and successful. She earned straight As, studied theater, and went to the Prada Academy, where she majored in modeling protocol and etiquette. By age 15, she was a professional runway and television commercial model.
At age 23, she participated in the Miss Panama contest, in which she earned the title of Miss Congeniality. She could do whatever she put her mind toward doing. And, she loved luxury weddings…
After Bisli became an expert luxury wedding planner globally, including in the San Antonio and South Central Texas area where she resides, she realized she enjoyed being close to the brides. Each time she planned a wedding, she felt that through them, she was celebrating her own daughter’s wedding — every time. That’s the passion she feels for each bride. They truly are always her daughters.
Never the Mother of the Bride
Bisli also wrote Never the Mother of the Bride, a bride’s best wedding planning book. It contains her first-rate advice and tips. It’s the best book for brides or even an event planner or individual working in a corporate event planner service. Use it for decoration ideas, as a vendor guide, budget clarity, or a floral decor wedding ideas book — that’s just some of the suggestions.
David Tutera, world-renowned American Celebrity Wedding Planner, Fashion Designer, and Host of WE TV’s “My Fair Wedding with David Tutera” and “David Tutera’s CELEBrations,” said; “Never the Mother of the Bride is the perfect title simply because she cares about her brides, couples, families and puts each of them first before herself.”
